FOG(Mizer-120ST)
The Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) is an angular rate sensor based on the Sagnac optical effect, incorporating high-performance all-digital closed-loop detection technology. It features a system architecture comprising one electronic processing unit and three sensing heads, optimized for navigation applications to enable rapid startup and reduced alignment time. Angular velocity data is output in real-time via serial interface.
Applications include guidance systems, aircraft, vehicles, ships, submersibles, rail inspection, and industrial-grade inertial navigation/attitude reference systems.
